Free RPG Day 2026

Date: Saturday June 27th Time: 10am-7pm Cost: Free Seat Cap: None Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin is proud to host Free RPG Day 2026! We will be offering free RPG sessions of Pathfinder, Starfinder, and Dungeon Crawl Classics, Daggerheart, and many more! This year as part of our annual Free RPG Day celebrations here at Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin we hope to have some local RPG creators showcasing and demoing their games: Hearth and Harrowing by Jared Twing! Candlelight Inquisition by Will Fish! “Come play a demo of this new indie TTRPG, run by the author. Step into a world of muskets and magic in this fantasy survival horror game where you play as heroes trying to take back the wilds from the forces of corruption. Inspired by OSR and based on the Basic Roleplaying Universal Game Engine which runs games such as Call of Cthulhu, RuneQuest, and Pendragon. So grab up your flintlock, strap on your sword, and be ready for fight to protect what is yours in Of Hearth & the Harrowing.” – Jared Twing Some of our free RPG items will be available when we open with more stock being released between 12pm – 1pm as our RPG table sessions will begin. While our RPG Sessions are running, we will be offering a giveaway of our more premium items to participants in our Free RPG Day sessions. Giveaways will be held at the top of each hour during the event between 12pm – 5pm.
